Why you should wear earplugs

Sleep is vital to your overall health, and approximately 30% of the world’s population isn’t getting enough of it. When you have trouble sleeping due to ambient noise, earplugs designed for sleep are a great solution.

Sleep earplugs are made for comfort, with a softer and more flexible material so they can be worn all night long without irritation.

Who should wear earplugs?

  • Sleeping partners of heavy snorers
  • Anyone sleeping in a noisy environment due to traffic noise, noisy neighbors, student living, etc.
  • Travelers who need to rest on-the-go

Product Description

The 3M™ E-A-R™ Classic™ Earplugs for sleeping were the world’s first foam earplugs and are still one of the most widely used earplugs today. These earplugs are stiff enough when compressed to make fitting easy, yet soft enough to be comfortable in the ear for extended wear. Slow recovery, low-pressure foam fits snugly to create a noise barrier that helps protect hearing from loud sounds. Bright yellow color allows supervisors to conduct quick visual hearing protection compliance checks. Recommended applications include chipping, chiseling, drilling, furnace operations, grinding, heavy equipment operations, machining, pouring/casting, power fastening, riveting, sanding, sawing and welding. These earplugs are commonly used in the following industries: agriculture, automotive, chemicals, construction, general manufacturing, healthcare, oil and gas, and pharmaceuticals. These regular size earplugs comfortably fit most people.

These earplugs have a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 29 dB, CSA Class AL. These earplugs are test compatible with the 3M™ E-A-Rfit™ Validation System. Moisture resistance helps maintain a consistent expansion time, even when humidity is present. Flame resistance helps protect against potential arc flash situations and provides for safer storage.

Decibullz earplugs story

Kyle Kirkpatrick is an Olympic level gymnastics coach, extreme athlete, and a tech nerd. But he was fed up with headphones because they wouldn't stay in, sounded awful or hurt his ears. Kyle consulted audio engineers, material specialists and high-level athletes to develop and test hundreds of designs, formulas, and prototypes to create an easy and affordable custom molded earphone. In February 2012 Kyle created the world's first thermo-fit custom headset, and Decibullz was born.
